One of the big reasons we were inspired to build GoKid was because of the obvious need for school carpools. When GoKid founder, Stefanie Lemcke realized that driving her kids to class each day meant sitting in traffic next to neighbors, she knew something had to be done.

Carpooling to school is a fantastic way to reduce traffic around the campus, improve air quality, and save time for parents. Kids also benefit as they can spend more time with friends on the way and can be social with kids they might not otherwise have gotten to know.
