Safety is very important to us at GoKid. When it comes to transporting children, safety is a top priority. This is why we built several features into GoKid to ensure that we are doing as much as possible to promote safe habits. These features include: the app being invitation-only (no strangers in the car driving your children around!), a transparent schedule where all participants can see who is driving on which days, automatic notifications for child pickup and drop off, and we’ll also be rolling out live-tracking so each non-driving parent can track where the car is at any point.

We also recommend that drivers avoid drowsy driving, always check to ensure all passenger are wearing seatbelts and have the correct seat type for their age and weight, and never make unscheduled stops.

You can read here some of our blog posts about safety at school pickup and drop off zones, safe driving tips, and best practices for carpooling.
